Here is a model that you can follow in order to complete your HW.

You are at the library at the corner of Western Avenue and Independence Street.  You need to go to the small pharmacy.

Here are some guideline to help you write your direcciones en la ciudad. 

Direcciones en la ciudad:

1) Speaker should say where you are and where you have to go.

2) Speaker should start of each direction with the word first, after that and finally.

3) Speaker should use a mixture of you have to phrases as well as just the command.

4) Speaker should say for how many block the person should walk.

5) Speaker should always use a direction (to the right, forward, straight, to the left) when giving an instruction.

6) Speaker should mention each street and avenue name.

7) Speaker should mention at least one landmark that the person is going to pass by.
